Dr. Alan Ch’ng is a Consultant Geriatrician and Physician. He is the Deputy Head of Clinical Research Centre at Seberang Jaya Hospital, as well as an Honorary Lecturer and Examiner for the Penang Medical College. He studied medicine at the University of Science Malaysia and later earned a Master of Internal Medicine degree from the University of Malaya. He further pursued fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at Kuala Lumpur Hospital, University of Malaya and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore, during which he gained clinical expertise in geriatrics-related fields, including geriatric rehabilitation, palliative medicine and old-age psychiatry. He is also a certified medical impairment assessor.
