Dr Nurul Yaqeen is a Consultant Respiratory, Sleep & Internal Medicine Physician, currently practicing in Sunway Medical Centre Velocity, KL. She graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia, and subsequently obtained her memberships of MRCP UK from the Royal College of Physician, London, for her post graduate training in Internal Medicine. She has completed her fellowship in Respiratory Medicine from Ministry of Higher Education & Ministry of Health, Malaysia. She has published multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, including American Journal of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine, CHEST, Respirology, and Malaysian Medical Journal. She is also actively involved with the Malaysian Thoracic Society as one of the executive committee members, and she is also one of the board members of Women in Interventional Pulmonology (WiIP) international society. She is also very active in social media via her twitter, facebook, instagram & YouTube channel. She is also one of the executive committee members of MedTweetMY (Medical Twitter Society, Malaysia). She had shared her views on lung diseases via multiple interviews with TV3, Astro Awani, Bernama, Berita Harian, Harian Metro, Sinar harian, New Straits Times and other media platforms. Her field of interests are airway diseases, lung infection and sleep medicine.
