My passion with cardiology started when I was in medical school. The heart has never failed to amaze me. Therefore, upon completion of my paediatric training, I enrolled myself in paediatric cardiology subspecialty training. During this training, my interest grows in the area of catheter-based interventions. While I have performed many simple to complex cardiac interventions, I have a fair share of successful and failed interventional procedures. Those failures serve as a reminder that I need to further enhance my skills and techniques. In addition, I need to know my limitation and minimise the patient’s risks to the procedure
